Getting a new car

SDMoto - San Diego Sport Bike Motorcycle Forum Group/Getting a new car => So I'm thinking about getting a new car (probably by the end of summer, most likely sometimes in mid July-early August.) I'm not a huge muscle fan

Well in such a case, I think I would have to recommend vehicles that have balls since, other than the Cobra, there none on this list.

Charger R/T SRT8 or 392
392 Challenger
Mustang 5.0
'Vette
Cobalt SS
M3
335i Coupe
You could get a Camaro, but I mean its a Camaro...

how bout new subaru wrx 5-door. the 08-10 look kinda bleh but they changed the look up this year so it looks almost identical to the 08-11 sti

Good point, however insurance on one of those is even greater than a speed 3, which is saying a lot.
Accident rate for a WRX is way higher than the accident rate of all the other cars on the list.

Seriously, can you imagine a skinny asian dude like me in a charger, challenger, corvette, or camaro? Unless I was 40 or something going through a mid-life crisis.

BMW drivers have the stigma of being douches. I know several myself. And they definitely are douches. Don't want to deal with that reputation. I'd much prefer an Audi myself, not as common as BMWs and Mercedes =P.

I bought a new car around Christmas.  Nothing special, but I got a 2010 Lancer GTS (not Evo) for 16,500. It was used, but only had 1500 miles on it, still under a 5 yr factory warrantee.  So, it was used, but barely.  May consider something like that.  I got mine from Carmax.  Probably the best car buying experience I've ever dealt with.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to say ALL BMW drivers are douches, because I'm sure some aren't. I'm simply saying many are known to be.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind!

I'm actually in the market for a wrx or sti myself and I was surprised that with my current progressive plan, both the sti and wrx would be cheaper to insure than my current car (bmw 330ci) or the gti or mazdaspeed 3. Definitely worth getting a quote first, although your results may vary

I can imagine it. Looking like a boss with style = ) Thats why I say get one. Bet youd think I looked like a grandpa or some hotshot kid if you saw me in my car = P

I know plenty of beemer drivers. Stereotypes are a generalization of reality. Thats all I gotta say bout reputation. As far as it goes though, Id take the beemer over an Audi and as far as im concerned Benz can go to hell.
