Now that I have a "new" bike, all I think about all day is what mods I want for it.

-Power commander
-steering damper
-05 r6/04-06 r1 radial master cylinder (cheaper upgrade compared to brembo 19x18)
-shorty levers (already got these)
-ss brake lines

PC and steering dampers are EXPENSIVE though. Should I go for used?

There's a group buy deal on cycle sector for a GPR V4, total comes out to be almost $400

Currently talking to a guy who's selling his Scotts dampener for $265 shipped

I'm more inclined to get the Scotts, even though I don't really dig the gold color...
Any opinions?

I seriously just got ALL of the above and more... Except for the SS lines, don't really want to deal with that yet.

Now waiting on shipping.... Angry

Really? Don't you have to like bleed the brakes and everything? I heard that's a b*tch. I'm waiting for a good deal on lines anyway.

Yes you do. You have to bleed the shit out of them. Does your bike have a radial master cylinder?

I actually just changed my master cylinder this week. All that, took like 2 hours. That was lines off, change cylinders, make everything actually fit right and not bang into other parts, reassemble everything, fill reseviour, bleed lines.

I have a radial coming in the mail. It's an 05 r1 MC.

Yo my friend and I are gonna order some ASV shorty levers F3's factory Refurbished for 45 a pop. If anyone else wants to jump on it'll be cheaper shipping.

I guess I just want one set for the brake, but it might look nicer if I have a pair so brake and clutch lever for 90. Any inputs on this?

*Edit: Never mind, I see that you already got them.

Wow nice, 45 for ASVs is a great deal. Yeah I already got my shorties. I would think that it makes more sense to put the lever on the clutch side, but whatever floats your boat! I'd get a pair just to have a matching set Tongue
