Wow, its been a long tough journey to get my bike finished and on the road, then to round up my paperwork and get my license squared away.  My parents think its time the bike goes. My brother Josh Wright just died yesterday during his future soldier delayed enlistment training for the US Army. He was doing physical training and at some point he had a massive heart attack that the coroner said even if there was someone around, nothing could have been done to save him. He was only 24 and my family is taking it very hard. I am taking it harder than anyone because he was my only brother. He wanted a bike pretty badly and the plan was for me to get a second one because he was unemployed and we wanted to take a long ride together.
So my parents want the bike gone in fear for my health and safety. I still want to ride but that might be out of the question currently. I find myself wondering why the lord chose to take my brother after his short time on this earth? Everyone keeps telling me he is in a better place, but after the competitive times and arguing we did, I find that recently we have gotten much closer. This is a royal bummer in my book and I miss him greatly. He has an enormous amount of friends, and I hope to get him into your guys' prayers.

Sorry to hear about your brother man....
Did the doctors say what caused the heart attack?

He'll be in my prayers.
Like everyone else has said, he's in a much better place.

Coroner said it was due to a full blockage an inch long in the artery leading up to the left ventricle. My bro wasn't in perfect shape but he wasn't obese or unhealthy by any means.

Before you put your bike away, I would like to set up a Memorial Group ride for your brother. My Dad died 3 years ago this August. I don't know exactly how you feel but I know exactly how you're hurting. Take some time to yourself and I personally would like to join you in a memorial ride for your brother when ever you feel like you're ready. Post up when you want it to happen if you want it to happen and I will be sure to make time for it. I will pray for you guys. Take care.

Sincerely,
Eric Galamay

Im with Eric, I would think it proper to do a group ride in memory of him, if you would want to. Its always sad to hear about something like this happening. I dont have the first hand experience to know what youre feeling, but Im pretty sure it must be terrible. Im really sorry to hear about it. Let us know if and when you would want to ride. Take care of yourself.

When things calm down a little bit I would be more then happy to do a group ride in memory of him. Take his picture with and take pics of him in some places he hasn't, that I know of, been. I appreciate everyone that has said something. It is a tough and trying time and to lose your brother, well I have felt like I am barely alive since. I feel like half of me is completely missing and I dont know if I will ever feel right again.

I was never religious prior to this, and that bothered my family to no end, but after this happened it has put me in a place of belief. I believe that my brother has a greater purpose now but that doesn't make anyone miss him less. He has many friends that saw his as a big brother and he was respectful and I learned soo many things from him. Its hard to believe still....I keep thinking at some point I am going to wake up, and its been 3 days.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. While I cannot even begin to imagine what it must be like to lose someone so close to you, I know what it is like to lose someone you care about and love. My condolences to you and your family. I'll be up to do a group ride whenever you feel ready.

Regards,
Scott
