So I'm about to take my bike to the shop to replace spark plugs and the air filter.  I don't have a garage at home so even if I wanted to replace my air filter by myself, I don't have to tools to do it with, and spark plugs sound really complicated, beyond my knowledge and know-how (close to zero haha).  They're charging me 200 dollars for labor.

Is this something someone can help me with at their garage?  Or should I just take it to the shop?

P.S. my bike knowledge is so bad I don't even do my own oil changes haha

Well I just got an oil change and oil filter like.. 50 miles ago haha -_-
and with the air filter I think the shop's not even charging labor since all they have to do is slip in the new air filter after they're done working with spark plugs..

so the only real thing I need work on is the spark plugs and those are hard, right?

spark plugs are pretty easy as long as the frame doesn't get in the way. you also need a spark plug tool (think long long long adapter for a socket wrench) though or else you'll never get them out.

I found a guide online specific for my bike.  Anyone brave enough to try this?

By the way... don't say yes if you don't know what to do, since I don't know what to do either, that would result in a terrible outcome  Roll Eyes
