I personally prefer techspecs for the following reasons: 1. They look more high class than stomp grips 2. They don't rip of the inside of your legs like stomp grips when you brake really hard and slide against the tank. 3. They don't rip your clothes when you brake really hard. 4. The traction is just as good on tech specs as stomp grips 5. Tech specs can be reapplied while stomp grips can't 6. Just get them  |

haha....I've experienced 2-4 personally.
I've heard tech specs can be reapplied but I've never tried to. I will though when I repaint my bike.
If you want cheap cheap alternatives, just get some skateboard grip tape....but I don't think they'll last as long.

lol so confused uhh....heat? these are going around the gas tank right? there should be little to no heat there. just get the tech specs....you won't regret them. ps....tech specs are more than just tape...ahaha :p |

Do NOT get the high fusion ones though....get the snake skin ones.
the high fusion ones are juts glorified skateboard tape and the grip wears off after awhile
