I'm pretty damn sure I'll be going through track tactics.

nope, don't have to safety wire anything for the track day, at least not through this org or any that I have heard of. Back protector might be nice but also not a requirement. Just need a suit and the bike, the rest you can take care of when you get there.

Suit, Full length gloves, and boots.

Take care of the rest when you get here.

I'll be there, and I'll be at Buttonwillow the next day Cool
In addition to what Mint said, just make sure your bike has no visible fluid leaks and make sure you have adequate tread left on your tires (but even if you dont there are tire vendors at the track)

Also, TrackTactics makes you sign up for an ID card before you can register for events. You can go to their website and click on the Membership tab to see the directions for signing up. You have to fill out some forms and send in a copy of you drivers license and health insurance card along with a picture of yourself. If your planning to go, you should do this sooner rather than later because it can take one or two weeks to get your ID and you cant sign up until you get it.
Signup isnt available yet for April 12th, but when it opens up the price will probably be really cheap (around $50).
