Welcome to the website!

Post up here if you just want to introduce yourself, don't be a lurker! Post!

I personally love riding, and I hope we can turn this website into San Diego's first major motorcycle community. I don't intend this to become any sort of 'crew' or anything, just a normal community of riders who organize rides amongst ourselves and others.
I hope this can become a place for us to share advice, stories and ORGANIZE GROUP RIDES

Anyway, Register and say hi!

Hey All,

Can't believe someone's finally taken the time to get motorcyclists together. I have faith that this will work, but yeah haha working out all of the kinks will take some time.

I'm a 3rd year @ UCSD and I ride a black/dark blue 07 GSXR 600 (if my name didn't give it to you already Tongue). Been riding motorcycles since the law first let me, since I was 15.5 yrs old, and have learned some things along the way. Hoping to find more people to go to Palomar and Julian w/, and maybe learn a trick or two from some of you who have been riding a little longer than me. Looking forward to meeting you all.

-Vidur G.

P.S. Aimen I can't register for your "test event" so something's wrong with the calendar.

Hi to all.

I'm Lilly (that is the translation of my name, much easier...), postdoc at UCSD, and ride a Honda Rebel.
I just started riding last winter, so I'm very new to motorcycles, but I love it so far.
I would like to go to Julian too (and other similar places). I already tried, but a friend of mine that would be the passenger was too afraid to come with me... and I'm not going alone either... But I went up to near L.A. once by my own (and survived!!), so I guess I'm experienced enough to do other short trips... lol.

See you.

This is sweet! Thanks for starting this Aimen.

Please do setup a palomar ride!!!  Grin

FYI there is a $80 trackday for first time riders under trackxperience org for OCT 26th. If you guys have suits and have never been to the track this is the best time to do it! I'm not affiliated...just attending. Hopefully i'll see some of you there!

I ride a Red/Black Honda NT650. Been riding for about a year. I'll see you guys around.....

What track at willow springs is it, Streets? I might be down, i just need to see if i can skip classes that day. I've done streets twice now and its a REALLY fun track if you havn't gone, very technical.

How are you getting your bike up there?

By going to cheap events man!

Henry there's a event at streets on the 9th with hypercycle for 50$ I've gone with them before and they run a great event. I also have friends going who might bring a big rv.

Let me know if you wanna go that day, I'm still thinking about your event tho, maybe I'll do both.
Streets is a great track to pop your cherry on! Just take it easy until your tires are warm.

Also everyone.... don't be afraid to start new topics!

Hi everyone.

My name is Roger and I ride a 2000 suzuki gs500. I'm a chem major and have been riding for just over four years. (I've put ~24,000 miles on my bike in the last two years) I love rides out into the back-roads of San Diego. Personally, I usually head into the Jamul and Otay lakes areas off of the old hwy 94, but I am definitely down to try Palomar and I already do Julian pretty regularly as well.

Ride Safe and I hope to see some of you around soon.
