Oh man, I want to get out next weekend, but my only day to ride is Friday afternoon or anytime Saturday.  Sunday's a no-go for me.  Anyway, you might try NKB Motorcycles in Miramar, or Stark Cycles on Miramar rd.  I usually go to Stark Cycles.  I don't know what they charge for a mount, but they've been awesome as far as everything else I've dealt with them on so far.

I'm down. But its gonna be my first time on the 94 and I don't want to drag you or anyone down. Can you give me like the end destination point?
I'm excited! Hopefully I wake up clear headed in time.

If you have the means to take the entire wheel off your bike, you can even bring it to cyclegear and they can mount it for you there. Otherwise shops will charge you more for wheel removal and all that jazz. If you remove the wheel it can cost as little as 30 per tire.

I meant off the bike, I don't trust too many people to work on my bike. Cycle gear quoted me $30 plus fees. I remember the good days when they were charging $15... nkb cycles quoted me $20 and I've heard nothing but good things about them.

As far as Sunday goes, think we'll probably meet 10ish at the starbucks on otay lakes. Ride 94 till the chevron station (campo I think). Then we can either do another lap or go north on sunrise hwy to julian.. and please please please (I can't stress this enough) go your own pace and don't worry about slowing anyone down. Nothing worse on a group ride than an accident(s). This is the reason I don't do meetup rides anymore.

seriously, dont ride the pace the guy in front of you has, ride your own. dont push yourself to where youre not comfortable.
